The Milestone Experience
The focus of milestone sessions is on documenting your child as they are at this stage. From curious exploration to confident movement, sessions are child-led and unforced, allowing personality and expressions to come through naturally.
style & approach
Milestone sessions are designed for babies between six and twelve months, a time when so much begins to change. If you missed the newborn stage, this is a wonderful opportunity to photograph your baby as they become more curious, expressive, and aware of the world around them.
Sessions take place in my in-home studio, a quiet and comfortable space where your baby can move, explore, and interact at their own pace.
Every baby approaches this stage differently. Some are ready to jump straight in, while others need a little time to settle. I work gently and adapt the session as we go, following your baby’s cues and allowing things to unfold naturally.
These sessions are ideal for marking milestones such as sitting independently or celebrating a first birthday. This stage is full of small but meaningful changes, and the focus is always on capturing your child as they are in this moment.
